Lesson Schedule
Why choose us for your horseback riding experience?
Simply stated, Waredaca has been providing quality riding services to our customers since 1932; family owned and operated, our professional staff are wonderful individuals and effective teachers; they are very active in the horse industry on a local and national level; and, above all, are dedicated to their student’s enjoyment, progress and competence with their riding experiences
Our TEN-week Fall schedule of horseback riding classes will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd. The session fee is $340/series of ten; other than Sunday/series of nine for $306.
- Complete payment for the session is required at the first lesson.
- All classes will meet and ride from the Red Indoor Arena.
- Private rates are $ 45/30 minute lesson or $55/45 minute lesson; semi-private rates for groups of two or three are $50 /each student/hour lesson.
- The available times for privates and semiprivate lessons are listed under the DAY listing; additional times may become available.
- CLASS REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN ON, MONDAY AUGUST18. Sign up then by calling the business office at 301-570-4191 AFTER 9:00 A.M. Class confirmation for all activities will be assumed at the time of phone registration OR you may email to events@ waredaca.com with a first and second preference of lesson day and time with the understanding that phone registration will take priority. Email will be checked daily beginning at 9 on Monday August 18 specifically for lesson requests.
- Regarding missed lessons, Waredaca offers only one makeup lesson per student per session; there is NO carryover of lessons between seasonal sessions. Makeup lessons will occur the week of November 22 at the regular lesson time.
- NO CLASSES THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 21 (Tues) THRU 26TH (Sun).

PONY KIDS
Perfect introduction for children, ages 4-7, to horsemanship! This enjoyable one-on-one format focuses on safety, confidence, and balance. As students master goals in these areas, they may move on to more active control of their horse. Lessons are tailored to the individual student’s development in order to maximize both their potential and fun! Monthly series fee of $45/per lesson; call the office for details.
WAREDACA PONY CLUB
...for those who want to join the United States Pony Club Organization and do not own their own horse! Here is your opportunity to be a pony clubber!! Available for Intermediate 1 and above students, check out the USPC.ORG website for Pony Club ‘Center’ information. Look for WAREDACA PONY CLUB CENTER DETAILS on our website.
Eventing...the horse triathlon …..
As many of you know, WAREDACA will hold two fall eventing competitions. These events feature an equine triathlon of dressage, cross country jumping and show jumping. This event is WAREDACA planned, organized, and executed with your assistance. Guess what?! We need you!! Whether you are an experienced horse trial staffer or one who knows only the front end from the other end of a horse, your efforts are important . We need volunteers to do many different things—build and paint jumps, score riders going cross country, help with hospitality for our judging officials, work with “numbers” in the results booth, park cars, and so forth.
